About Our Kids Sandpits with Canopy

Made from treated timber, each outdoor wooden sandpit with canopy is built to handle Australian weather conditions while maintaining a natural, backyard-friendly look. The adjustable canopies provide both shade and protection, and some designs double as a lid to keep sand safe from pets and debris. All products are tested to relevant Australian or European safety standards and are designed with an internal ground sheet for added protection.

A canopy is highly recommended as it provides shade from harmful UV rays, keeps children comfortable during play and protects the sand from debris.

Most outdoor wooden sandpits with canopy can be assembled by one adult in around 30-60 minutes, depending on the model and included accessories.

Our sandpits are made from fir timber that's been high temperature treated for resistance against rot, fungal decay and insect damage. Canopies are typically made from UV-resistant fabric for long-lasting protection.
